Joined as a faculty member in the Dept. of Telecommunication engineering, College of Engineering, Kakinada during Feb.1965 and later became Lecturer in the same department.

Joined as Lecturer in Andhra University during 1970 in the Dept. of Electrical Engineering and was instrumental for starting the branch of Electronics and Communication engg. in Andhra University.

Joined as Reader (Asst. Professor) during Nov. 1974 and took up projects of National importance in Electronics.

Joined as Professor during 1980 and became Chairman, Board of Studies in the branch of Electronics and Communication Engg.

Joined as head of the Department of Electronics and Communication engineering during Sept.1983.

Has taken up Technology Development Council Project on development of Mobile Com. System funded by DoE, govt. of India.

Has been appointed as Co-Ordinator for Futurology Programme in Andhra University and was instrumental for starting M.Tech in Future Studies.

Has become Governing Body member in three colleges.

Was Co-ordinator, UGC affairs in the university administration during 1991-93

Has become IEEE student Branch Counselor since 1994 and is responsible for development of IEEE student branch Library.
